Keegan-Michael Key Runs Obstacle Course of Questionable State Gun Laws

Keegan-Michael Key joined Billy Eichner on Billy on the Street to demonstrate how easy it is to buy a gun in America by running through an obstacle course. The game, called “Super-Sloppy Semi-Automatic Double Dare,” had Keegan going through obstacles that were based on questionable gun laws in different states.

Billy would announce the obstacle by reading a particular gun law in that state, like, “In South Dakota, any private gun owner can sell a gun to any other citizen without any type of background check or permit.” Keegan would then complete a Double Dare-style obstacle like picking a gun out of George Washington’s nose on a cutout Mount Rushmore.

He hit Sarah Palin’s pistol piñata in Alaska, replaced the Statue of Liberty’s torch with a gun in New York, and collected money in a “lobby” to pay off a senator in Washington D.C. The final obstacle was firing a giant pistol, which was actually a cannon that shot a person through the sky and into a net. It was pretty awesome, no matter what you think about guns.

Billy On the Street airs Tuesdays at 10:30 p.m. on TruTV.
