Katy Perry Confirmed As ‘American Idol’ Judge
Rumors have been swirling about who the judges will be on the American Idol reboot on ABC, and on Tuesday, Katy Perry stopped by Ellen to neither confirm nor deny that she’ll be involved. But UPDATE: ABC has made it official — she’s in.
When Ellen DeGeneres asked about the rumors, the pop superstar played coy.
“Judge not lest ye be judged,” Perry responded, adding, “But they didn’t say anything about constructive criticism, and I’m good at that.”
When DeGeneres pressed, Perry simply took a drink from her mug. Take that as you will.
On Monday, Us Weekly reported that American Idol alum Chris Daughtry will also join the show as a judge. ABC has yet to confirm his involvement.
