Kathy Griffin Inks Deal For Celebrity Book
I have learned that comedian Kathy Griffin has made a rich deal with Flatiron Books for Kathy Griffin’s Celebrity Index A to Z. Under the pact, which I hear is in the seven figures, Griffin will pen the book, which is being described as “salaciously funny.” It focuses on celebrities and features personal anecdotes, including titillating details. I hear the tome is targeted for a fall 2016 release.
Griffin, known for her unfiltered, racy comedy, is coming off her latest stint as co-host of CNN New Years Eve alongside Anderson Cooper. She previously inked another seven-figure book deal with Ballantine for her best-selling memoir. Griffin often has tackled the world of celebrity, including on her Emmy-winning reality series My Life on the D-List.
