Jon Stewart Explains 'Secret' Obama Meetings and Reveals Another
Jon Stewart began Wednesday night’s The Daily Show explaining what happened during the widely reported “secret” meetings he had with President Obama. “Holy s–t!” he declared, after playing a montage of news reports about the allegedly clandestine meetings. “Something is not a secret just because you don’t know about it.”

The outgoing host (whose final show airs Aug. 6) went on to say that he and President Obama talked for “about 45 minutes” debating issues like the less-than-smooth launch of healthcare.gov. But what was more interesting was what the host revealed next. Stewart continued on to explain that another high-powered leader requested and had an actual secret meeting with Stewart — and in fact told the host, “This conversation never happened, and if you said it did, I’ll deny it.”
The Daily Show airs Mondays through Thursdays at 11 p.m. on Comedy Central.
