John Stamos, Keri Russell, and John Goodman Give Advice to Younger Selves

On Late Night With Seth Meyers, Keri Russell, John Stamos, and John Goodman each sent “A Message to My Younger Self,” in which they imparted words of wisdom to themselves at earlier stages in their lives and careers.

Speaking about an oddly scandalous moment at the early height of her career, Russell told “Young Keri” that life is “gonna be so exciting” and warned “whatever you do, don’t cut your hair short during the second season of Felicity.

Stamos, noted for being both handsome and seemingly impervious to aging, told “Little John” that life would be great as long as he followed this advice: “On your 18th birthday, the prince of darkness, Satan, will offer you eternal youth in exchange for your soul. Little John, I’m telling you right now: You take that deal.”

Following along the same lines, Goodman told “Little Johnny” that he would “have a great career and a happy life without any regrets.” And then in a hilarious if oddly dark turn, he went on to spin a wild yarn about throwing a rock at a duck as a young boy, only to find out that ducks seek revenge.

Late Night With Seth Meyers airs weeknights at 12:35 a.m. on NBC.
