John Oliver's Profanity-Fueled Response to Paris Attacks

On Last Week Tonight, John Oliver had a few sharp words regarding the recent attacks in Paris. Luckily, his show airs on HBO, so he was as sharp as he felt he needed to be to express his anger over the senseless mass violence.

The host was visibly angry while talking about it, uttering many of the (curse) words that other news outlets are simply unable to air. (From his expletive-filled rant, the only word that we can repeat here is “unconscionable.”) The host continued by citing a laundry list of brilliant people and delicious things that make French culture the incredible force that it is — from macarons to Edith Piaf.

Last Week Tonight airs Sundays at 11 p.m. on HBO.
