John Oliver Announces Official Endorsements
With the presidential election just a few months away, there is no shortage of celebrities throwing their support behind each of the candidates. John Oliver, host of Last Week Tonight on HBO, joined the list of celebrity endorsers, but not in support of Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump.
Instead, in an online exclusive clip, Oliver threw his support behind random things like animals wearing people clothes and interspecies friendships. He also got behind wearing gingham shirts with ties you wouldn’t think go together but somehow go together.
Oliver finished his list of endorsements by supporting the 1999 film Pushing Tin, starring John Cusack and Billy Bob Thornton. But he didn’t support the movie because he’s a big fan. What Oliver likes most is the sleep-inducing quality of the film.
