John Legend Shares Touching Tribute to Manchester Bombing Victim

John Legend took a break from his tour to pay tribute to a victim of the recent terrorist attack in Manchester, England. The singer sent a video message to Good Morning Britain for Charlotte Campbell and Paul Hodgson, the mother and stepfather of Olivia Campbell, one of the victims of the bombing at an Ariana Grande concert.

Legend said, ‘I can’t imagine the pain you are going through … the feeling you must be going through right now to have to bury your own daughter.”

The singer became emotional as he continued: “I understand that she was a fan of my music and she sang my song ‘All of Me’ for a talent show and that it was played during her memorial service. I want to thank you for playing the song and let you know that I was so moved by your daughter’s performance of the song, that I want to send you as much love as I can send you from far away.”

Campbell’s parents were moved by the warm message and imagined their daughter’s reaction to the kind words.
