John Diggle Returns to Team ‘Arrow’
On Thursday’s episode of Arrow, Oliver decided it was time to bust John Diggle out of prison. Diggle is Oliver’s right-hand man, and the crime fighter couldn’t let his buddy rot in jail for something he didn’t do.
Team Arrow wasn’t keen on the idea of their leader breaking into a military prison, but when they tried to stop Oliver, they all got punched in the face.
Oliver snuck into the prison, and with the help of some sweet tranquilizer darts and a little martial arts, he managed to find his way into Diggle’s cell. Unfortunately, Diggle didn’t want to leave because he thought he deserved to rot in prison for killing his brother. Oliver convinced him that Star City needed him more, saying, “I need you, the team needs you, the city needs you. I’m not saying you shouldn’t do your penance; you probably should, but do it as Spartan.”
So Diggle and Oliver escaped together, and it looks like Team Arrow is just getting more and more powerful.
Arrow airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m./7 p.m. CT on the CW.
