Jimmy Kimmel Asks Oprah Whether Trump Wants Her To Be His Veep

Jimmy Kimmel, hosting tonight’s guest Oprah Winfrey on tonight’s Jimmy Kimmel Live: Game Night primetime special, asked the media mogul about any Donald Trump running-mate plans she might have in the works. One year ago this month, after Donald Trump officially announcing his bid to become the next president of the United States with his now-famous The Mexican Rapists Are Coming! speech, the real-estate mogul turned reality-TV star reiterated that he’d like to run with Oprah Winfrey. It was an idea he’d first floated when he previously mulled a White House bid, in ’99 as a Reform Party candidate.

“I think Oprah would be great. I’d love to have Oprah,” he told ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos last June, adding, “I think we’d win easily, actually.”

Kimmel, of course, has already announced his VEEP candidacy. Now he’s looking for a POTUS and a political party.
