Jimmy Fallon Chooses ‘Tonight Show’ Heir in ‘Empire’ Spoof ‘Jimpire’

Empire returns for its second season Wednesday, and everyone’s ready for it — including Jimmy Fallon, who did a 10-minute spoof on The Tonight Show Tuesday night.

In “Jimpire,” Fallon channeled Lucious Lyon’s look, voice, and urgency (due to his injured finger), and searched for his own heir to The Tonight Show.

While Terrence Howard, Taraji P. Henson, and Donald Trump each made cameos, it was Steve Higgins who stole the sketch as his version of Cookie (or, as Henson said, “I should call you Little Debbie, ‘cause you are one fake-a– cookie”).

We won’t spoil Fallon’s pick for you. But we will say that we, too, are a big fan of Lucious’s scarves.
