Jim Gaffigan Shows That ‘The Gaffigan Show’ Is Truly a Family Affair
Sorry to disappoint, Jim Gaffigan fans, but you won't find any hot pockets in the comedian/author/actor's Instagram takeover. To celebrate the second season of The Gaffigan Show, returning this Father's Day on TV Land, the funnyman took us behind-the-scenes of the show based on the fictionalized version of his life.
Shooting on location in New York City, Gaffigan shared a gaggle of photos from local hotspots such as Katz's Deli, the American Museum of Natural History, and even the USS Intrepid. In addition to sharing snaps of co-stars like Andy Richter, Adam Goldberg, Michael Ian Black, and John Mulaney, Gaffigan offered fans a peek at literary giants Rivka Galchen, Kelefa Sanneh, Calvin Trillin, and Malcolm Gladwell.
Despite all the famous faces, the real scene-stealers of Gaffigan's takeover are his children! His brood of five are shown eating burgers on a park bench and posing adorably in front of a dinosaur. His youngest son, Jack, even gets screen time playing his dad in a flashback!
The Gaffigan Show returns Sunday, June 19 at 10 p.m. on TV Land.
