Jennifer Lawrence and John Oliver Make Startling Confessions on ‘Tonight Show’

Jennifer Lawrence and John Oliver stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for a game of True Confessions. The rules of the game are simple, one player claims to have done something and the others have 60 seconds to question the confession’s validity.

Jennifer Lawrence went first, confessing, “I once took an Ambien before filming a scene in The Hunger Games.” She claimed to have taken the pill by mistake prior to a scene in which she danced. This turned out to be a true confession, which both Oliver and Fallon believed.

John Oliver claimed, “As a teenager, I had a summer job working in the kitchen at Buckingham Palace.” After some intense grilling by Lawrence and Fallon, Oliver’s confession started to unravel. He claimed to have made the queen a feta cheese omelette, at which point it became obvious he was lying, and he lost.

Oliver did share a true confession, however: “At 19 I was thrown out of a Tokyo sauna for not being naked enough.”

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. on NBC.
