‘Hollywood Game Night’ Producer Mission Control Hires Nicholas Oakley-Tilley to Head Development

Unscripted production company Mission Control Media has hired Nicholas Oakley-Tilley as senior vice president of development. Reporting to Mission Control co-presidents Michael Agbabian and Dwight D. Smith, Oakley-Tilley will will be responsible for overseeing and growing Mission Control’s development slate.

“Nick brings a unique talent for both finding and creating fresh, inspired material along with a determination that is infectious,” said Agbabian. “We are excited to have him join our team and can’t wait to sell some amazing shows together.”

Oakley-Tilley most recently served as HLN’s head of West Coast development. He began his career at the BBC, with subsequent stops working in development at MTV, Mentorn and ITV Studios.

Mission Control produces unscripted series including NBC’s “Hollywood Game Night”; Syfy’s “Face Off,” “Hot Set,” “Marcel’s Quantum Kitchen” and “WCG Ultimate Gamer Guide”; Spike’s “Tracks” and “Framework”; Food Network’s “Celebrity Food Fight”; and TruTV’s “How to Be a Grownup.”

“Since I first worked with Michael and Dwight ten years ago, it was clear there was a shared enthusiasm for original programming built on innovative concepts and high production standards,” said Oakley-Tilley. “I’m thrilled to be reunited with them and to help propel Mission Control to the next level.”
