Sean Hannity may finally have found a way to make liberals watch his show.
Unfortunately, it required him to sit for six minutes on Tuesday's episode of "Hannity" as Democratic Rep. Keith Ellison, of Minnesota, unloaded on him. Ellison began his tirade by calling Hannity "the worst excuse for a journalist I've ever seen."
Ellison was objecting to Hannity playing a series of clips of President Obama, set to scary music. Ellison said it amounted to "yellow journalism." Hannity disagreed.
But the underlying issue may be that Ellison and Hannity don't seem to like each other very much.
Conflict equals drama, however, and viewers who missed last night's show began searching in earnest as word of the spat spread online. People who normally skip "Hannity" were suddenly very interested. So maybe, just maybe, Ellison will be invited back again.
