'Grey's Anatomy': Watch a McDreamy Retrospective Video, Because You Haven't Cried Enough Already

Warning: This piece contains character and storyline spoilers from the April 23 episode of Grey’s Anatomy.

No, we haven’t stopped crying yet either. After Thursday night’s devastating episode of Grey’s Anatomy, in which — seriously guys, SPOILER ALERT! — Dr. Derek Shepherd gets hit by a truck and ultimately Meredith has to remove him from life support, we’re just kind of walking around in a daze, muttering things like “Why, Shonda, why?” and “But… he was so handsome.” Now, just to make the pain more acute, ABC has released a retrospective video of Derek’s most McDreamy moments on Grey’s. It’s all there: his first meeting with Meredith (”I’m just a guy in a bar”), the candle house, the Post-It wedding vows, “I want a lifetime”… Oh great, now we’re crying again.

After Thursday night’s episode, EP Shonda Rhimes issued a statement to let us know she feels our pain. “His loss will be felt by all,” she told TVLine.com, adding that Meredith is about to enter a “new chapter” of her life. We’ll join her in a bit… just as soon as we stop sobbing.

Grey’s Anatomy airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
