'Grace & Frankie': Jane Fonda and Sam Waterston Play Know Your Co-Star
When last we met the quartet of friends and exes in Netflix’s Grace & Frankie, Sol (Sam Waterston) had cheated on his future husband Robert (Martin Sheen) by sleeping with Frankie (Lily Tomlin) — the woman Sol used to be married to. Not a great way to start a new marriage, but as Waterston and co-star Jane Fonda (Grace) tell Yahoo TV, Sol will not ‘fess up to his infidelity right away in season 2. “A major crisis happens,” teases Fonda. “And I, who was encouraging [Sol] at the end of Season 1 to tell him start to think now, ‘No, you shouldn’t tell him.”

But before we talk too much about Season 2, let’s get to the more important question: How well do Fonda and Waterston know each other after co-starring together for two seasons? Yahoo TV put the Emmy-winning actors to the test with a round of Know Your Costar. We grilled them about coffee preferences, celebrity crushes, and hobbies, but as you’ll see from the video above, all roads lead to Season 2 guest star (and co-star of Netflix’s The Ranch) Sam Elliot.
