Good Luck Note From Ken Jennings Helps ‘Jeopardy’ Contestant to Victory on ‘This Week in Game Shows’

Sometimes we’re disappointed when we meet our heroes, and at other times, our dreams are realized. On Jeopardy, contestant Sally Neumann recalled meeting the game show’s winningest participant ever: Ken Jennings. While at an event with her University of Washington Quizbowl team, Jennings wrote Neumann a note that she brought with her to the show, which said, “To Sally, hope to see you on Jeopardy.” Not only was it prophetic, Neumann went on to win the game!

Excitement is expected when you’re called up to The Price Is Right stage, and that excitement can be hard to contain. But one contestant would not. Stop. Screaming. Host Drew Carey and MC George Gray had some fun with it, nonetheless.

Steve Harvey loves interacting with his audience, although that leaves a lot of room for shenanigans. On Family Feud, Harvey looked to an audience member when trying to pronounce a name. Not only did Harvey get the name wrong, the woman didn’t even know the contestant.
