These “Golden Girls” action figures are EVERYTHING
There are a few things in life that get us really excited and anything Golden Girls will do that to us. They’re like the ultimate #girlsquad — a circle of friends who aren’t afraid to be who they are and love each other through it all.
With the right amount of sass, of course.
That’s why when we heard that there’s an actual, no-joke Golden Girls action figure set that you can buy, we nearly sprained our ankle jumping for pure joy.
As Elle reports, the complete set has begun selling at New York Comic-Con because these legendary ladies deserve a place at one of the biggest conventions around.
YES — the set has the whole girl gang: Sophia, Rose, Dorothy, and Blanche, and they’re all sold together by Funko as a ReAction mini-figure set. The box of pure awesome is sold exclusively at Comic-Con which is taking place now at the Javitz Center in Manhattan.
“The response to our Golden Girls products has been wild,” Funko’s director of marketing Mark Robben told ABC News.
“We almost weren’t prepared for the excitement. We created these as a passion project initially, and were blown away when it started trending on social media.”
Yah, no joke — they’re amazing!
If you’re not in New York and you have no way to get to Comic-Con, don’t worry! The good people of Funko also said they’ll be available to everyone else thanks to Target starting next week.
