Geraldo Rivera Responds to John Oliver Criticisms

On Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, the host discussed the so-called “mother of all bombs” that the U.S. dropped in Afghanistan.

It was the most powerful non-nuclear bomb ever used by the U.S. in combat, and Oliver had a lot to say about it. He also had a lot to say about how the hosts at Fox and Friends covered the bombing. They praised the action and showed footage of it set to a soundtrack by country singer Toby Keith. John Oliver felt that Geraldo Rivera was the most gleeful of the bunch, with Rivera proclaiming, “One of my favorite things in the 16 years I’ve been here at Fox News is watching bombs drop on bad guys.”

On his show, Oliver responded by saying, “Oh, that’s a coincidence because one of my favorite things in the four seasons on this show is getting to look directly into the camera and say f**k you, Geraldo, I hope your mustache gets caught in a box fan.” Rivera did not take kindly to this, and took to Twitter to fire back.

John Oliver has yet to respond, but something tells me that he won’t be pulling any punches when he does.
