George Clooney and Julia Roberts Join Gwen Stefani for Carpool Karaoke
On The Late Late Show With James Corden, Gwen Stefani took part in the show’s wildly successful segment “Carpool Karaoke.” While the pop-punk star and Corden rolled around town, they sang several songs, like “Don’t Speak” and “The Sweet Escape.” Unfortunately they weren’t able to make a sweet escape from the zany L.A. traffic.
In order to use the HOV4 carpool lane and avoid the traffic, they had to add two more passengers. Fortunately Corden was able get George Clooney to ride with them. And Clooney called up his Ocean’s 11 franchise co-star Julia Roberts, who was happy to be their fourth. The four celebrities drove around talking and singing “Hollaback Girl,” which got pretty b-a-n-a-n-a-s.
Among the three guests, they have three Oscars and three Grammys, which is probably why they cranked their music game up to 11. The superstars finished the ride by belting out Queen’s “We Are the Champions.”
