First Promo For Caitlyn Jenner Docuseries Premieres
On Monday, reality star and Olympic champion Bruce Jenner was reintroduced to the world as Caitlyn Jenner when Vanity Fair released pictures from the magazine’s upcoming July issue. Now, on Wednesday, a promo for Jenner’s new eight-part docuseries, I Am Cait, premiered on Today.
In the promo, Jenner can be heard saying, “So many people go through life and they don’t deal with their own issues, no matter what the issues are. Ours happen to be gender identity. But how many people go through life and just waste an entire life because they don’t ever deal with themselves, who they are?”
She also talks about learning how society’s unfair treatment of women, saying, “You go through all this stuff and you start learning the pressure women are under all the time about their appearance.”
According to E!, the series will showcase Jenner experiencing the world as a transgender woman, and how her transition has impacted the people in her life. I Am Cait premieres on E! on Sunday, July 26 at 9pm.
