The First Lady's TV Takeover: Michelle Obama Will Appear on The Voice and NCIS This Week

Get ready to turn up for Michelle Obama's television takeover.

The first lady and Dr. Jill Biden will be on hand to watch The Voice's Top 10 contestants perform Monday night, along with an audience filled with active duty and retired service members and military families.

The special appearance kicks off an action-packed week of cameos for the first lady, who is celebrating the fifth anniversary of her and Biden's Joining Forces initiative, which raises awareness for the need to support service members, veterans and their families.

The celebration continues Tuesday night, when the first lady will guest star in an episode of CBS' NCIS, and culminates in a special appearance at Prince Harry's Invictus Games this weekend.

In the NCIS episode "Homefront" the first lady invites Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and the wife of a Marine to the real-life White House for a "Joining Forces" roundtable with military spouses. The extras appearing in the scene are actual military spouses, according to CBS.

And on Sunday, Obama and Biden will show their support for Team USA at the Invictus Games, Prince Harry's landmark Paralympic-style games for wounded veterans.

The first lady and President Obama have warned Harry that the U.S. is going to "bring it" to the event in Orlando, and the prince – and his grandmother Queen Elizabeth – seem more than ready for the challenge.
