'Fear the Walking Dead:' Chris Is the Worst Times Infinity

On the season 2 penultimate episode of Fear the Walking Dead, viewers were treated to a plot that was primarily about Chris. While the show is comprised of a wide variety of characters, Chris is the one who's most likely to make you yell obscenities. This episode picks up with Chris killing the guy who lives on the farm where he and his buddies were hiding. The fact that Chris didn't show any remorse for murdering another human being was upsetting for his father, Travis. Travis tried to talk to Chris about his concerns but his son's response was, "This is how it works now. Look around. There is no more good, there is no more bad, right or wrong. It's us or them, kill or be killed." One of the group's companions was nursing a gunshot wound and so they elected to shoot him so he wouldn't slow them down. Chris deceived Travis in order for his friends to come in and kill their injured friend. Once the friend was killed Chris and his buddies took off, leaving Travis to bury the body and fend for himself. The odd part about that is that Chris and his friends could have left at any time. They didn't have to kill their friend, they could have just left him with Travis. Unmotivated action for the sake of plot points (Chris breaking bad) is exactly what one might expect in a Chris driven episode.
