‘Fear the Walking Dead’ Characters Finally Figuring It Out
It took quite a few episodes of Fear the Walking Dead, but it appears that the characters are beginning to figure out the way life works in a zombie apocalypse. Meaning, they finally accept that the new world is tough, and in order to live in it, you have to fight for it.
The last episode left off with bad guy Connor taking Travis and Alicia to his lair, while Abigail took Connor’s little brother, Reed, captive. Madison, to get her family back, offers to trade Reed for her people. Connor agrees, and so Abigail heads to meet with Connor.
As luck would have it, stupid Chris shot Reed in the face because he “thought he was turning.” But Chris missed Reed’s brain, so he turned into a zombie. Having no choice, the gang kept zombie Reed around and used him in the trade, but with a bag over his face. This worked beautifully, because Reed took a bite out of Connor and created enough of a commotion that it gave Madison and Travis a chance to get violent and kick some butt.
Alicia saw the commotion and jumped off the ship, where she was being held captive, and left with her family. Good job, Fear characters! Finally, we found ourselves shouting for you, rather than at you.
Fear the Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on AMC.
