Beware! There be spoilers ahead.

Actually, there's not nearly as many as you'd think in a video recapping all five of George R.R. Martin‘s “A Song of Ice and Fire” books; the inspiration for HBO's “Game of Thrones.”

Fan Nick Douglas set out to try and recap the entire sprawling saga in two minutes, and failed miserably. Martin's complex saga simply has too many characters, too many locations and way too much political maneuvering and intrigue to possibly sum it up that quickly.

Even with liberal edits — who knows how long the original video was — Douglas doesn't come close to covering everything in the books, though there are a few spoilers along the way; even more for TV viewers, as the series isn't yet caught up to the book series.

It was a valiant effort, and makes for a fun refresher to anyone who has read the books. TV fans will be able to follow most of what Douglas is talking about as well, but anyone unfamiliar with the saga is likely to come away even more confused about the whole thing — and with a raging headache.
