‘Family Feud’ Couple Announces Pregnancy on ‘This Week in Game Shows’
It was a big week for game shows, and no show had a bigger moment than Family Feud. When Steve Harvey went to meet the Stephenson family, Megan and Adam had a big secret they’d been keeping from their relatives, but they’d obviously already told Harvey, who set them up for the big announcement. Megan and Adam are expecting their first child in December.
Also on Family Feud, one contestant got one of the highest scores we’ve ever seen in the Fast Money round. She answered four of the five questions with the No. 1 answer. This turned out to be a problem for her teammate going next, but the teammate still reached the necessary 200 points.
On Jeopardy!, Alex Trebek acted like a big bully when a contestant tried explaining nerdcore hip-hop to him. She described nerdcore as people who identify as nerds rapping about things they love, like video games, science fiction, and a rough love life.
Trebek replied, “Losers, in other words.”
And on The Price is Right, one woman was so excited to get on stage that she was having trouble breathing. Host Drew Carey calmed her down, then came under attack when she exploded with excitement after she saw her prize. She literally hit and shook Carey. But all turned out all right. Nobody was injured during the making of this game show.
