Eva Longoria asked Ryan Seacrest to host her wedding reception on the spot

Attendees of a wedding usually are supposed to bring a gift, but when Ryan Seacrest went to Eva Longoria’s wedding, he brought his hosting skills. Longoria guest-hosted Live With Kelly and Ryan, and though it was their first time working together, they’re longtime friends.

Seacrest went on to tell a story that at Longoria’s wedding to Tony Parker, Longoria asked him to host the reception on the spot. He recalled, “We were there and something happened. All of a sudden you shoved a microphone in my hand.”

Longoria explained that she wanted the wedding to move along, so she turned to her friend with hosting experience. Though he didn’t have anything prepared, Seacrest happily obliged and even forced the creator of Desperate Housewives, Marc Cherry, to give an unplanned speech.

Seacrest joked that he is a host for rent for any wedding. So, if you’re planning on getting hitched, give Seacrest a call.
