‘Empire’ Casts Rumer Willis for Season 3

The recording booths over at “Empire” are getting pretty crowded.

Rumer Willis has been cast in a recurring role for the Fox series’ ongoing Season 3.

She’ll play Tory Ash, who is described as a brilliant but volatile singer-songwriter. Tory’s talent becomes invaluable to Jamal (Jussie Smollett) as he creates his most important musical work yet. Ash’s own attempt to make a crossover comeback and her unwillingness to shy away from controversy will have ripple effects throughout Empire, however.

Willis is the daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore. The real-life singer is also a Mirrorball Trophy winner on ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars.”

The second-generation Hollywood actress served as Miss Golden Globe in 2008.

Rumer can next be seen in “Women on the Edge” and “Hello Again.” “What Lies Ahead,” a thriller starring the actress, is slated for 2017.
