'Empire' Cast and Crew Tease Season 2 in a New Video
Starved for more Empire? Unfortunately, you’ve still got to wait until Sept. 23 to see the continuing adventures of the Empire entertainment company and its battling owners, the Lyon family. For now, this hour-long Q&A with the show’s cast and crew — including Critics’ Choice winner Taraji P. Henson and creators Lee Daniels and Danny Strong — will have to suffice.

Taped last week at the L.A. hotspot The Grove, the Q&A recaps the memorable moments of Season 1 and teases what to expect from Season 2. “Warring kingdoms,” is all Strong will say, with Henson quickly adding, “A dynasty will rise!” Once everyone had their say, the stage cleared for a live performance of some of the series’ most popular songs, like “Conquerer” and “You’re So Beautiful.” September can’t get here soon enough.
Empire returns Sept. 23 on Fox.
