Emmys 2016 Red Carpet: Adorable ‘Modern Family’ Star Steals the Show

In what was easily our most adorable interview of the day, we caught up with the kids of Modern Family, Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, who plays Lily, and Jeremy Maguire, who plays Joe Pritchett. The two are 9 years old and 5 years old, respectively. Maguire stole the show in his red bow tie and matching cape. He was most looking forward to seeing all of his co-workers, while Anderson-Emmons was really hoping to see Beyoncé.

When asked what they would do if they won an Emmy, Anderson-Emmons said she’d put it on the shelf with her other trophies. Maguire, on the other hand, didn’t know what he would do with it.

As the interview was coming to a close, Jonathan Banks, who plays bad guy Mike Ehrmantraut in Better Call Saul and has played quite a few villains in his career, walked up from behind and picked up Maguire.

As he held Maguire, Banks said, “This is a future bad guy if I’ve ever seen one.” Maguire loudly replied, “I’m not a bad guy.”
