Emmys 2016: Who Will Win? Our Instant Predictions!

Sure, the Emmys are more than two months away, but that doesn’t mean we can’t start making fearless predictions now about who will take home the gold. Will newcomers like Mr. Robot or critical darlings like The Americans pull off an upset over the juggernaut that is Game of Thrones? Will Veep take home the Comedy Series win, or is this the year Black-ish will reign supreme? Yahoo TV’s Kristen Baldwin and Mandi Bierly discuss their picks above.

And what would an Emmy nominations day be without some cathartic griping about the stars and shows that were snubbed by the voters? While it wasn’t that shocking that The Good Wife didn’t make the Outstanding Drama Series category again this year, Mandi feels particularly aggrieved by the lack of a nomination for Christine Baranski.

There were some happy surprises, though: Both The Americans and Mr. Robot managed to break into the Outstanding Drama Series category and the acting categories for stars Keri Russell, Matthew Rhys, Margo Martindale, and Rami Malek. Watch Mandi and Kristen break down the snubs and surprises below, and add your thoughts in the comments.
