Kemper stars as Kimmy Schmidt, an incurable optimist who fell in with a doomsday cult in Indiana and spent 15 years in an underground bunker. But now she’s free and starting a new life in New York City… and catching up on everything she missed. (“I feel like I’m on Bravo! That channel still shows operas, right?”)
