‘Dude Perfect’ Learns to Drive With Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Chase Elliott

The Dude Perfect Show premiered on Thursday on CMT. The gang of guys known for their trick shots online were asked to drive a pace car at a NASCAR race. The dudes competed among one another for the opportunity in a homemade racing-themed obstacle course. Garrett Hilbert had the fastest time through the course, but his celebration turned to panic as he learned that the pace car had a manual transmission. Hilbert did not know how to drive a stick shift, so he got a lesson from none other than NASCAR driver Chase Elliott.

After a few bumpy starts, Elliott taught Hilbert to get his car moving. Before the race, the guys had a chat with Dale Earnhardt Jr., who hoped that the newly initiated stick driver was able drive without interfering with the field of cars behind him.

Luckily, Hilbert was able to drive the pace car without incident and even celebrated by having champagne sprayed on him after his laps.

The Dude Perfect Show airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on CMT.
