Donna Brazile Out at CNN After Allegedly Slipping Debate Qs to Clinton

CNN has parted ways with contributor Donna Brazile amid allegations that the interim chairperson of the Democratic National Committee leaked debate questions to Hillary Clinton earlier this year.

In a statement, CNN said it was “completely uncomfortable” with Brazile’s ties to the Clinton campaign, although the network went on to note that it was Brazile who resigned from her post back on Oct. 14.

According to emails obtained by WikiLeaks, Brazile shared information with HRC campaign chairman John Podesta about potential questions at a CNN Democratic primary debate last March.

“On October 14th, CNN accepted Donna Brazile’s resignation as a CNN contributor. (Her deal had previously been suspended in July when she became the interim head of the DNC.) CNN never gave Brazile access to any questions, prep material, attendee list, background information or meetings in advance of a town hall or debate. We are completely uncomfortable with what we have learned about her interactions with the Clinton campaign while she was a CNN contributor.”
