'Defiance' Season 3: First Look at the Trailer and the New Aliens
Looks like the futuristic frontier town of Defiance is adding two more alien species to its already crowded terrestrial and extraterrestrial population. When the Syfy series returns for its third season on June 12, residents will come face to face with an off-world race long thought extinguished: the Omec, represented in the form of fiery young Kindzi (Nichole Galicia) and her weary father, T’evgin (Conrad Coates).
Yahoo TV has the exclusive first look at this daddy-daughter pairing, whose intentions remain a mystery… for now.

The Omec have picked a not-so-fine time to arrive in Defiance. As this trailer hints, the townsfolk are currently holding off a military invasion. Even worse, their Gulanite mines have gone bust, leaving them with scant financial resources to stave off the hostile takeover. Here’s hoping that Kindzi and T’evgin are arriving well-armed, because otherwise there won’t be a Defiance for them to carry out their as yet-unrevealed agenda.
Defiance premieres on June 12 at 8 p.m. on Syfy.
