Dave Chappelle‘s comeback is officially in full swing.

On the heels of his well-received and highly-rated Saturday Night Live hosting stint, the funny man has signed in to star in three all-new specials for Netflix. Two of the three specials will feature “never-before-seen” footage “from Chappelle’s personal comedy vault,” while the third one will be an original stand-up performance. All three will be released simultaneously in 2017.

“Dave Chappelle is a legendary voice in comedy — searing, vital, and now more than ever, essential,” said Lisa Nishimura, VP of Original Documentary and Comedy. “Dave’s three new specials promise to be some of the most anticipated events in comedy, and we are honored he will mark his global return on Netflix.”

Chapelle has maintained a relatively low TV profile since abruptly quitting his hit Comedy Central series on Chappelle’s Show a decade ago.
