‘The Daily Show’ Makes Sean Spicer a Kindergarten Teacher in Hilarious Mashup

Ever since Sean Spicer became the White House press secretary, he’s had a contentious relationship with the press. Many have criticized him for what they feel is a condescending tone when he talks to reporters during his briefings. Trevor Noah and The Daily Show noted that they think Spicer seems like a beleaguered kindergarten teacher and put a li’l gem together.

Perhaps the best part of it was the intermingling of footage with Spicer’s rebuke of American Urban Radio Networks reporter April Ryan. During the real press briefing at the end of March, Ryan had asked Spicer about the investigation into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election. Spicer, exasperated, said, “At some point, April, you’re going to have to take no for an answer.” The Daily Show had a child replace the adult Ryan, to great comedic effect.
