‘Daily Show’ Correspondents Clock in One Last Time for Final Farewell

Jon Stewart’s final episode of The Daily Show is sadly now behind us, and he went out with something we’ve gotten used to: Jon throwing to his correspondents. In addition to current correspondents Jessica Williams, Jordan Klepper, and Hasan Minhaj, seemingly every correspondent to have ever graced that sweet green screen came back for one last throw, including Assaf Mandvi, Al Madrigal, John Hodgeman, Lewis Black, Kristen Schaal, Samantha Bee, Steve Carell, Nancy Carell, Vance DeGeneres, Mo Rocca, Dave Attell, Matt Walsh, Dan Bakkedahl, Larry Wilmore, Jason Jones, Josh Gad, Rob Corddry, Nate Corddry, Bassem Youssef, Michael Che, Olivia Munn, Rob Riggle, Ed Helms, Wyatt Cenac, and the big guns: John Oliver and Stephen Colbert.

Original Daily Show host Craig Kilborn made a quick pre-taped appearance, where he ribbed his successor saying, “You’re finally getting canceled, Jon. I hate to say it, but I knew you were gonna run this thing into the ground.”

And Stewart’s successor Trevor Noah showed up, tape measure in hand, in a bittersweet bit that reminded us that it was, in fact, really Jon Stewart’s last night behind the desk.
