Curtis Stone is used to cooking things up, and his super-romantic plans to propose to his girlfriend of three years, actress Lindsay Price, were no exception.
"We were down in the south of Italy," the celebrity chef told Us Weekly at Thursday night's Around the World in 80 Plates finale party in NYC. "We took a little break, and...I did it! I popped the question. We had a beautiful balcony in Positano and I did get on one knee."
And just like a chef presenting his best dish, it was clear that the Bravo star was over the moon with how the picture-perfect moment went over.
"Look at the smile on my face; I'm an excited man. She said yes!" Stone, 36, gushed. "If she had have said no, I'd be very sad, but she said yes so I'm very happy."
On Thursday, a rep for the couple, who welcomed adorable son Hudson last November, confirmed to Us that the pair were set to tie the knot; the Australian-born culinary star made the announcement on WNBC in the afternoon.
It will be the first marriage for Stone and the second for Price, 35, who divorced producer Shawn Piller in 2007 after three years of marriage.
