Couple Caught Canoodling on Live BBC Broadcast in Rio

Dan Walker of the BBC has had a pretty interesting time while covering the Olympics in Rio, and none of it had to do with the Olympic Games. Most recently during a live broadcast, a couple on the beach were seen over Walker’s shoulder, and they appeared to be canoodling in one way or another. Walker had no choice but to address the situation. At first, Walker said it was just a hug.

Walker then went on to say: “They’re reading a book. Apparently they’re reading a book. They are reading a book in a very strange pose.”

This wasn’t the first time Walker’s camera had caught more than expected. Earlier this week, also during a live broadcast, a man was seen walking to the ocean, urinating, then walking away, though that didn’t get Walker’s attention in quite the same way as the canoodling couple.

Perhaps the best thing to have happened during one of Walker’s many live broadcasts was when a bachelorette party happened upon him. The bride-to-be, Maria, joined him on camera. Maria, who along with her friends seemed to be having a good time that night, was talking about her upcoming wedding when her friends began loudly chanting her name from behind the camera.

And the BBC gained a few more fans that night as Maria started to chant, “BBC, BBC,” and her friends joined in.
