Clear eyes, full hearts can't lose, and here's some news to fill "Friday Night Lights" fans' hearts with hope: Connie Britton is open to a movie based on the TV show.

Or, to be more precise, a movie based on the show based on the movie based on the Buzz Bissinger book.

In an interview with E! at the White House Correspondents Dinner, the "Nashville" star said she would love to reunite with the cast of her former series.

"I would love it to happen. I'm a big supporter of it happening. I don't know if we will see it or not," she said.

"I know it was being written and [executive producer] Peter Berg is really serious about it, so I think if everybody got on board, I don't see why we couldn't have a movie."
