Conan Tries to Convince Mexicans to Pay for Trump’s Border Wall (Video)
Conan O’Brien’s recent trip to Mexico included a (failed) pledge drive to try and get Mexican citizens to pay for President Donald Trump’s proposed border wall.
The late night host made his way around Mexico City with a wall-shaped piggy bank asking people to help build the wall. If they pledged 500 pesos, they got their name on a brick. 1000 pesos scored you a handsome tote bag and a signed picture of Trump that says, “Moochas gracias.”
The segment is a preview of O’Brien’s latest hour-long travel special that will see him explore Mexico. He has previously traveled to countries like Germany, South Korea and Cuba.

The border wall was a major piece of Trump’s campaign platform, with the President claiming Mexico would pay for it.
