We Ask the Stars of Comedy Central: What's the First TV Show That Made You Laugh?

Comedy Central shows have been pretty great at making us laugh these past few years… but what TV shows were the first to make those people laugh?

In the video above, we ask the network’s stars — Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele (Key & Peele), Nick Kroll (Kroll Show), Andy Daly (Review), and Anders Holm and Kyle Newacheck (Workaholics) — to name the first TV show they remember really making them laugh.

Some went old-school; Peele remembers cracking up at I Love Lucy (”This show is in black-and-white… how is it the funniest show on television?”), and Key has fond memories of watching Robin Williams on Mork & Mindy (”I didn’t know you were allowed to be that silly in someplace other than your own home”).

And of course, this is Comedy Central, so some are just smart-asses. Kroll cites the ABC newsmagazine 20/20 as a personal favorite; ”Ted Koppel is a huge comedic influence for me,” he says.

Key & Peele returns for Season 5 Wednesday, July 8 on Comedy Central; Review returns for Season 2 this summer on Comedy Central.
