Comcast Investigates Insane Video of Car Wrecks Involving Cable Trucks in Indy Blizzard
Comcast has responded to a disturbing viral video involving its work trucks and technicians.
The Xfinity cable provider is “actively investigating” a recent incident in Indianapolis in which a work truck appears to cause a number of car accidents in snowy and icy conditions.
One good Samaritan caught the whole thing on video, and even used some of his own road cones to warn drivers of the dangerous conditions ahead after the actual installers wouldn’t drop more of theirs.

A number of cars slid off the street after they were too late seeing the technicians’ trucks parked just over a hill. One scary crash was even caught on tape, when the cars came close to striking the other stranded motorists.

When I watched this video I was very concerned by what I saw. Our employees should always protect people and treat them with respect no matter what the situation. Safety matters most – especially in dangerous weather conditions like this.
We are actively investigating what happened when our technicians were on site to restore services during an outage and we will reach out to those who were impacted by this incident.
Within the next 24-48 hours, my team leaders will meet with our technicians across our company to use this as an example of how important it is to make everyone’s safety a priority in everything we do.
And just as important, there’s no place for disrespect – treating people the right way is the only way to work.
