Did Clair Huxtable Steal a Baby Lyon on ‘Empire’?

After last week’s Empire, when Cookie turned down Angelo DuBois’s proposal and then Angelo listed all the illegal things he’d done over a hot mic, his mother was not pleased about her son’s now-tarnished reputation. Diana DuBois, played by Phylicia Rashad of The Cosby Show fame, showed her teeth when she had her muscle escort Cookie to the door saying, “Cookie, sweetheart, you have not seen our firepower.”

Cookie returned to Empire saying “It ain’t soft-ass Angelo who wants to go to war. It’s his mama.” She went on to say, “I don’t trust that fake-ass Clair Huxtable.” The Dubois Lyon war only got worse when Snoop Dogg pulled his rap dollars out of the Vegas deal at the advice of his investment guy, Ezekiel Dubois. This led Lucious to believe that Angelo had creeped in on his lucrative deal for payback on Cookie.

But when out of nowhere, Child Protective Services came to retrieve baby Bella, we were left asking, did Clair Huxtable steal a baby Lyon?

Empire airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on Fox. Watch clips and full episodes of Empire for free on Yahoo View.
