Chuck Todd Replacing David Gregory on ‘Meet the Press’

In news that should come as a shock to no one: Chuck Todd will replace David Gregory on NBC News’ “Meet the Press.”

The move was anticipated for some time, and is expected to become official sometime on Thursday or Friday. Gregory is expected to leave NBC altogether, CNN Money reported on Thursday.

NBC did not immediately respond to TheWrap‘s request for comment.

Gregory moderated “Meet the Press” for the past six years. Todd is NBC News political director and hosts “Daily Rundown,” which airs in 9 o'clock hour on MSNBC.

Politico's Mike Allen reported earlier this week that Todd was the “likely successor” to Gregory.
