'Millionaire' Host Chris Harrison Picks his Bachelor Nation Lifelines

Full disclosure: We are completely behind Chris Harrison’s quest to host every show on television. So when The Bachelor’s chief advice-giver and final-rose-announcer was named the new host of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, of course Yahoo TV had to bring him by the studio to answer some serious questions. Most pressing of them all: If Chris Harrison was a contestant on Millionaire, which former Bachelor/Bachelorette contestants would he want to be his Lifeline? The host says he’s confident he could find contestants to help him with questions in history, geography, and pop culture — but math? That was a stumper. (Watch the video above to see who Harrison ultimately picks.)

While hosting Millionaire, which shoots in Connecticut, means the California-based Harrison is racking up the frequent-flier miles, he says adjusting to the game-show pace hasn’t been a problem. “It was odd how eerily similar it was to what I do on The Bachelor,” he explains. “I’m trying to cheer you on and get you to that life-changing moment.” Now if we can only convince him to work “Is that your final answer?” into the last Bachelor rose ceremony, our lives will be complete.

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire airs weekdays in syndication. Check local listings or millionairetv.com.
