‘Chicago Fire’ Crossover First Look: A Warehouse Goes Up in Flames

When a massive fire hits the world of Chicago Fire, P.D., and the new Justice, it’s going to take all hands on deck to deal with the blaze and its tragic aftermath.

The NBC dramas will stage a three-part crossover on Wednesday, March 1, kicking off with an episode of Fire. A huge blaze erupts at a live/work space in an old factory (reminiscent of the deadly Oakland fire last year), and people are still trapped inside.

“We’re going to need every company in the city,” notes a worried Casey (Jesse Spencer). It’s clear this is no ordinary fire. The warehouse’s setup makes it extremely difficult for the firefighters, including Severides (Taylor Kinney), to get in, much less rescue everyone. As one survivor warns, “It’s like a maze — I couldn’t find my way out.”

And the stakes get even higher when one of P.D.’s own discovers a family member is inside.

The crossover continues with P.D.’s investigation of the fire’s causes, and then with a preview of Justice, as the state’s attorney’s team works to put a suspect behind bars. And Med isn’t left out — though it won’t air an episode Wednesday, the show’s doctors will appear throughout the night.

The Chicago crossover begins Wednesday, March 1, at 8 p.m. with Chicago Fire, followed by Chicago P.D. at 9 p.m. and a preview of Chicago Justice at 10 p.m.
