Celebrate Siblings Day With 16 of the Most Memorable TV Brothers and Sisters
April 10 is Siblings Day, and in the video above, Yahoo TV pays tribute with clips of some of TV’s most memorable brothers and sisters.
The origin of this celebration dates back to 1997, when Claudia Evart, after losing both of her siblings early in life, felt inspired to create the Siblings Day Foundation. Along with honoring the relationship between brothers and sisters, one of the organization’s primary missions is achieving the establishment of a National Siblings Day.
The video includes fan favorites such as Monica and Ross from Friends, Bart and Lisa from The Simpsons, and Brandon and Brenda from Beverly Hills, 90210. And who could forget the brothers and sisters from classic television shows like Diff’rent Strokes, Family Ties, and The Brady Bunch?
Also making the cut are the three Pearson siblings from This Is Us, the Pfeffermans from Transparent, and Cersei and Jaime Lannister from Game of Thrones. The Lannister pair are memorable because they’re twins — and lovers!
